The internal leakage of the butterfly valve
A pneumatic butterfly valve is installed on the discharge pipe where the powder is fed to the reactor by a screw conveyor, and a part of the solvent (acetone) will evaporate and flow back during the reaction. If the butterfly valve leaks internally, it will not only increase the solvent loss, but also easily cause the powder in the powder feed pipe to agglomerate and block the pipe. The root cause of the internal leakage of the butterfly valve is the selection problem. The internal sealing material forms of the butterfly valve are divided into soft sealing and hard sealing. If dust agglomeration cannot be avoided, other sealing types of valves should be considered.
 
The top entry metal seated butterfly valve is a new butterfly valve developed on the basis of multi-level triple eccentric metal seated butterfly valve according to the user's need. In addition to having all the excellent performance of the three-eccentric multi-level metal seated butterfly valve, it can also bear pressure in two directions. One of the biggest advantages of this top entry butterfly valve is that it can be repaired on site. The operating temperature can be from -29°C to 550°C based on the selection of the valve body material. The medium can be shut off and the flow of the medium can be adjusted due to good flow characteristics.

Features of top entry metal seated butterfly valves
1. The new top entry structure solves the problem of the traditional eccentric butterfly valve not being able to be repaired on site. For the original multi-level triple eccentric butterfly valve, when the sealing ring is damaged, it needs to be sent to the manufacturer for repair or a butterfly valve is scrapped.
 
The top entry butterfly valve does not need to be disassembled from the pipeline. It only takes a very short time to open the valve bonnet and it can be taken out from the inner cavity of the valve together with the valve stem and butterfly plate for repair or replacement of the sealing ring. Place the valve bonnet and seal it. By doing this, the normal operation of the pipeline system during the maintenance period will not be affected and the loss caused by the maintenance of the valve can be reduced to a minimum.

The working principle of the top entry butterfly valve
The top entry hard sealed butterfly valve is mainly composed of valve bodies, bonnets, butterfly plates, valve shafts, valve body sealing rings, butterfly plate sealing rings, shaft sleeves, bottom covers, driving devices and so on. By rotating the butterfly valve's hand wheel, the worm and worm wheel are driven to rotate. The worm wheel drives the valve stem and butterfly plate to rotate freely within 90 degrees relative to the valve body to achieve the opening and closing of the top entry butterfly valve, thereby realizing the adjustment of the flow and cutting off of the medium. The butterfly valve manufactured by our company is closed by turning the hand wheel clockwise.
  
Applications of top entry metal seated butterfly valves
The top entry metal seated butterfly valve is suitable for water, steam, oil, hot air, corrosive and other pipelines with medium temperatures of -29°C to 600°C and nominal pressure of 0.6 to 2.5MPa in order to cut off the fluid and adjust the flow of the medium. It is the best opening and closing mechanism on various pipelines.
